What's great about it: Great format. Uploading W2 was very slick!

Very Poor set up for NYS tax

had to go into a form of a form of a form in order to enter state taxes paid in. did not automatically transfer
What's great about it: federal was excellent
What's not so great: state taxes paid in didn't transfer

I had trouble with the return when it kept asking about 2 boxes H and J from my 2013 return. Both boxes did not have any numbers listed. Turbo tax did my return for 2013 so if the boxes were empty it was Turbo taxes fault.

Thorough program

Been using turbotax for years and it's served me well. The downside of turbo tax is that it takes way too long to load and update. This is frustrating if you are doing your taxes a little bit at a time. Otherwise, it does its job for a good price.
What's great about it: Asks all the right questions for the best refund
What's not so great: Takes way too long to load in computer each time

Love Turbo Tax

In the past I didn't use Turbo Tax and I made a mistake on my federal return. I was penalized for the math error and had to pay the tax and fine. Because I know Turbo Tax will be math error free I will use it for all my tax returns. I also, like Turbo Tax taking me through all the steps for my return. I feel that I get the biggest return.

On the Form 1099R- at the beginning it could have asked, did you receive a monthly chech or one time withdrwal for the retirement. all those questions leading up to file were ridiculos. I had to call an IRS agent to figure it out
