I always like doing my taxes; no fear, no dread, just a few hours.
What's great about it: quick & accurate
What's not so great: none noted
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2006. The very first time using it was the most time consuming because employer data is entered manually. But every year since the software it designed to update the previous tax year's information. It auto populates fields after asking a few simply questions.
The software provides side-by-side comparison of the current year's taxes with the previous year's taxes...an invaluable tool to ensure you miss nothing
The software is intuitive and designed for those of us who just want to get the dreaded deed done. The cost benefit of staying with Turbo Tax is well worth it. I recommend it to my children now that they are tax paying productive citizens.

put in my info on turbo tax but had to go back and add my name and all to actual 1095-a turbo tax told me not done but not in program
What's great about it: same as always easy to transfer
What's not so great: health care pages not great

I've used Turbo Tax Deluxe for home for the last 5 years. I really wouldn't do my taxes any other way. It's clear, simple to use, and it's step-by step walk through of the tax return process is intuitive and easy.
The few questions I've had were answered by the built-in help software.
It's a great bargain compared to using a tax service, and has the added bonus that once you've done your return, you can use it do and file your family members' or friends' returns too!

What's great about it: step-by-step walk through of the entire tax return is what makes this great. It's clear, and simple to use
What's not so great: Wish it (and everything else) was less expensive - but it sure beats using a service.

It was supposed to give me one free state return but then charged me for it. What up with that.?
Overall user friendly but when you go back in to edit a portion of the return it keeps asking the same questions even though you have already answered them instead of showing how you answered and just letting you edit the questions you need to. Bummer! Efiling was easy....

SOMETIMES WHEN I CLICK CONTINUE IT SKIPS A SCREEN.
WHY DID YOU TAKE AWAY SOME OF THE FORMS. NEXT YEAR WE HAVE FOUND THAT WE CAN GO ON-LINE TO H & R BLOCK GET ALL FORMS AND ALSO FILE FREE

What's not so great: YOU TOOK AWAY FORMS FROM DELUXE. NOW HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO GET THE NEXT ONE UP.
