I have used turbo tax for years and done other peoples taxes with it to. I am confident my taxes are done correctly and my refund is on its way.
What's great about it: concise, brief and to the point questions
What's not so great: I would like to see state filing be less like H&R online at $9.99
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great Experience - Outstanding Tax Program

Outstanding and very easy to use.
What's great about it: Outstanding Step by Step Guidance. Excellent Checks in Program to ensure user is gettng maximum refund with no errors
What's not so great: Could not get Turbo Tax Program to eliminate simplified method for retirment program.

Better Every Year!

This has been my fifth year to use Turbo Tax and it gets easier and faster each year. What a great product that gives me the confidence to continue to file my taxes "by myself". I always ask for Turbo Tax for Christmas and I am very glad that I do. One feature that I like is the explanation help that is always just one click away with Turbo Tax. Great experience year after year. Thanks for continuing to update and improve a great product.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Allows you to go back and review.
What's not so great: No Cons with this program!

you couldn't have made my tax preparation any easier. I don't have to wait for someone else to fit me into their schedule. I don't have to worry about mathematical errors.
the program caught several things that I didn't even know I could use to get a deduction.

Totally disappointed. I bought the Deluxe version and the state forms were not free as advertised. Why ?

Room for improvement

I had a horrible time getting the Payer SSN to allow me to eFile. I obviously won't have to do it next year but I would have gladly spent a $50 IRS Penalty to have a way around the issue.
What's great about it: Hard to forget to include something that needs to be included
What's not so great: Seller financed interest need for Payer SSN. Need disclaimer/workaround to eFile.

Makes filing simple

Used outside service for years and wanted to try filing on my own a couple of years ago. Was hesitant because I had not filed previously but the walk-through that software provides makes it easy.
I have a pretty easy scenario though; Own one home, one child of a divorce, standard deductions, etc. This app is a perfect fit. I will never go back to using outside source.
What's great about it: Intuitive interface, easy to follow
What's not so great: None
