Work Great

The program is structured quite well but also gives me the ability to maneuver on my own. Also, the ability to import last years info as well as my W2's really speeds things up.

Bottom Line is Accurate

I am very unhappy with the way TurboTax handled the changes to their Deluxe Program. Many consumers only found out after buying the same product they had used for many years and then, all of a sudden, the product was not right for them.
What's great about it: Step by step product that is a great help
What's not so great: After having done 90% of my return, it locked up and nothing helped except to uninstall and then reinstall product.

It is ok except for the very last part trying to print the state even 48 hours after the federal has been e-filed MA does not allow e-file on many returnsStill unable to print my MA return the federal has been sent and received return receipt e-mail

Never disappointed with TTax

I have been using Turbo Tax for more than 8 years and never had any problems with it. It caution me of things i might have overlooked and guide me to secure my submission of my forms. Being that receiving a return or paying back.
I can be sure that I am doing it right.
What's great about it: The ease of working my taxes and the security of examining my options.
What's not so great: For me there are no cons...

I love TurboTax, do not like the fact that PDF files aren't transferable this year.

Too many pieces of paper

Software getting better each year. A few years ago there were some issues with getting the data updated but you have corrected those issues and we were able to get our information send timely and received a refund quickly and this year was the fastest yet!
What's great about it: Able to determine what hard copy goes with in what area

Great Tax Experience

This was my first time with Turbo Tax. I have been using a paid tax preparer for many years. I am glad that I took the plunge. I was especially happy that Turbo Tax allowed me to go back over my return again and again as I received information or justed wanted to review.Since my wife and I are both retired, our returns are fairly simple. However, from what I see, filing a more complicated return would have been easy as well.

Excellent service

I am a long time user (15-20 yrs.). I have always used the Deluxe product. This year it came without any schedules and paid the same price. I called Turbo Tax and they send me a CD upgrade for free. I was surprise for the free upgrade. I don't know if this was a mistake or not for not including the schedules, but I am thankful for the excellent service of customer service. Thanks
What's great about it: Free update of DeLuxe product
What's not so great: No schedules with Deluxe
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
