Present a brief explanation of the steps. In some cases, the start up stalled and I didn't know why. So I pushed enter several times to get the start up complete and/or pushed return a number of times. In one case, I retrieved the disc and started all over.
What's great about it: Electronic and clean
What's not so great: Took a long time.

More detail this year which took longer, but I think I got it right.

Why Turbo Tax?

I like the software and I will continue to use it.
What's great about it: Great Step by step instruction, easy placement of information, Great Price
What's not so great: Not making it clear that I could have saved $42.00+ and mailed my return.

2014 taxes are done asap

Have been using Turbo Tax for at least the last 12 years. It's quick & easy to use & unless I have a very complicated return, I have no need to hire an accountant.
What's great about it: very straight forward method for filing accurately

Recommend for ease, but beware of costs

Overall the software is easy to use. Did not get one free state filing for 2014. Was charged to buy the software, to file the state return, and a refund processing fee.

Been a turbo tax user for years and recommend it to friends and coworkers all the time. Much easier to understand going thru everything step by step. You get the most bang for your buck. Other tax places wont take the time to go thru deductions and charge a ridiculous amount just to print that page out. I love this software, its safe secure and always up to date.
What's great about it: WALKS Thru to help with deductions / credits
What's not so great: fee for processing

Using your product for several years now; It has taught me to plan all year because I now know what I need to finish my taxes quickly and accurately; It's actually fun.
What's great about it: So simple it seems wrong!
What's not so great: Too smooth...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
