Turbotax Delux is the best!!!

I've used TurboTax Delux for many years now. I rate it at 100% over any go to tax place. It has every option and things I forget about.

What's great about it: It takes care of all my needs
What's not so great: Some of the old features are gone like smal business.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

A little frustrating

I have used turbo tax for about 10 years and I will use it again next year if I am living. Hope it becomes more user friendly to senior citizens. I like doing my own taxes.
What's great about it: did all my taxes in one place
What's not so great: a lot of stuff

Very dissapointed

I have used Turbo Tax for 5 years and even the first year I did not have as much difficulty using it as I did this year. I also do not understand why you charge for the California return if doing more than one. The government website is free.
What's great about it: I did not have to go to a tax preparer
What's not so great: HSA was confusing. Hate having to start a section over when I have saved before exiting.

CONFUSION!

My father is a retired Civil Service worker. His CSA 1099-R has "unknown" in Box 2a. Leaving it blank on the form caused more steps (and irrelevant questions). Switching to "Forms" caused more confusion in that entries for Box 9b appeared in Box 5 and vice-versa.
Questions about "Required Minimum Distributions" are NOT relevant to a government pension plan as it is NOT an IRA (ROTH or otherwise).
Regardless, whether the income was taxable on non-taxable the final outcome was the same, a refund of every cent paid in Federal Income Tax.

What's great about it: Filed MY return with no problems

We have been filing with Turbo Tax for more than 10 years and have been very satisfied. We even had to file an amended return once and it worked great. We can highly recommend Turbo Tax!

I have been using TurboTax for quite a few years and one thing that always impressed me is the on screen help. The detail always answer my question and clarified my doubts. So, I can not say anything bad about TurboTax.
