Great refund and easy getting it done.

I got a little confused with my IRA account that had been transferred from another banking institution. It took a while to understand how to handle it but Turbo came thru like a champ,

What's great about it: I was able to start and get back to it at another time and pick up where I left off.
What's not so great: The hard part was getting all my paperwork together.

Easy and done in about two hours

over all easy - I did have to go out and buy 2014 disc - I could not figure out how to simply update from 2013 taxes(purchase 2014 version)

Solid Performance

Overall, Turbotax remains a solid performer! I've been using it since 1996 on Windows and (later) Mac platforms. It's only gotten better, and more streamlined over the years. I use the Easy Step format, and really appreciate the flexibility to select whether I want to walk through everything or only selected topics. The ability to switch into the Forms format and correct an error there is invaluable. The audit risk review at the end has been simplified so that it no longer compares your risk to those similarly situated -- these and other changes move TurboTax to give customers essential information without taking us into the weeds as in prior years' versions. It's hard to believe that mporting of financial information from other sources isn't often available in 2015, so this would be a great improvement to focus on for next year!
What's great about it: Ability to switch between "Easy Step" and "Forms" views, importing of prior year return, and overall flexibility
What's not so great: Photos of CPAs unnecessary, some explanations confusing

Very good

Only a couple of improvements needed. Sometimes when answering the first question in a section "no" the next screen jumps to a comprehensive "edit" type screen. The only example I can remember is the 1099 INT question is answered no - the next screen jumps to a question about 1099DIV but has the various companies listed with edit button to the right side. While I am familiar with TurboTax a new person would get confused as to what to do as the first screen regarding INT was nicely laid-out but the DIV screen jumped to a list.
What's great about it: More refined, nice for military reservists
What's not so great: Some screens jump to an edit screen after first question

Simple, Easy, Awesome

I've used Turbo Tax for several years, always will. I like the simplicity and efficiency. I would never buy another program to do my taxes!
What's great about it: Simply and easy to get through the program, fast and efficient!

I have used it for years and love it. After using it one year I decided to try Tax cut and absolutely regretted it. There was no comparison and I have always used Turbo Tax every since then. I recommend it to everyone I know!!
