Overall this is a very thorough and easy to use product. It covers some deductions that I would not have realized could be deducted.
My only complaint is some of the places where deducting business transportation expenses can be a bit confusing. Maybe next year's product will make this section a little less confusing.
I would definitely recommend TurboTax. I have used it for the past 8+ years and will use it again next year.
What's great about it: Very thorough and fairly quick.
What's not so great: Business expenses can be tricky.

Turbo Tax never fails!

Turbo Tax software is super easy to use. ; It guides and walks you through step by step and explains (if needed) what you don't understand. I've been using this software for the last 10 years. I never thought I would be able to prepare my own taxes. This makes filing taxes a breeze. I don't dread filing my taxes and having to make an appointment. I file at my convenience and it's great.
What's great about it: Gets easier and faster the more years you use it
What's not so great: Price should include state efile fees

No Worries!!!

i found turbo tax to be very easy to use. I just choose to go throgh everything step by step, then answer each question. when I get to a part where I need information like intrest paid on my mortgage last year I just stop and save my return right there at that spot. hunt down or call and get the right amount from my mortgage company. this may take me an hour or 3 days. then i can start right back where I was and fill in the right amount and hit CONTINUE .
so for me the start and stop features are very important. so i can do it all at one time or stop get the right info and finish up a couple days later.
I really like the fact that turbo tax fills in the info from last year. i mean, it automatically fills in the stuff from last year. like I didn't even know that that info was there. real handy feature.

Life Made Easy: No Rock Left Unturned

It would be even better if the "continue" button fit on the screen, so I wouldn't have to scroll down to it after answering every question. But overall, it was a breeze! Thank God for Turbotax!
What's great about it: We covered everything
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My pros and cons say it all. I've heard really, really, really good things, and I've heard some really, really, really bad things. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because we don't know if I've screwed up yet. :-) I guess I'll find out in 2015 or 2016.

Great, accurate and easy

The software is the best! I have been using this product since the middle 1990's and it has never let me down. Even the questions I have about IRS rules the software has the information I need to answer those questions.
I have been recommending this to all my Family and Friends.

so simple

using turbo tax is the easiest way I have every been able to do my taxes. We have been using turbo tax for five years now love it. The way it helps walk right through every detail and most have helpful explanations of what the section is looking for. The only con we have is I do most of my familys taxes now and one member gets a type of retirement from Canada and Turbo tax will not except the form he has it took me about 3 weeks the first year trying to figure out how to enter correctly
What's great about it: it is so simple to use and and make sure all is correct
What's not so great: foriegn forms question could not be answered
