Fast, easy ... no muss and no fuss

Fifth year in a row using Turbo Tax and just as in past years it was no muss, no fuss and finished in record time.
Can't say enough about the application.....try it, you'll like it!
What's great about it: Was able to import all previous personal information...saved lots of time

Disappointed

Intuit should allow a full refund for those of us who purchased the deluxe version. I ended purchasing both deluxe and premier.
What's great about it: ease of filing
What's not so great: missing varous schedules, no notification of changes
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Overall, very happy. So helpful to be able to load and compare data from last year's return. Nice to be able to import from bank, Quicken, payroll. Saves a great deal of typing and mistakes. My status is pretty vanilla with a couple of exceptions and turbotax walked me through everything and gave explanations where I needed them. Annoying that you pay extra for the state return and then have to pay for e-filing on top of that. e-filing should be included in the price
What's great about it: easy to use, step-by-step explanations
What's not so great: pricey compared to online versions. pay for state return and e-filing

Not the best this year

I love Turbo Tax. I get a great refund and I find the program accurate and efficient...except for this year. I had to un-install and re-install the program twice to get it to update. Then after 3 hours when I FINALLY got done, it wouldn't allow me to pay my state e-filling fee. Brutal. I finally just submitted Federal because it was free. I guess I'll try State after I call one of the help numbers on Monday. Total disappointment as I wanted to get everything done at once.
What's great about it: Easy to use once it worked
What's not so great: LOTS of technical difficulties for the first time in 10 yrs
