I love turbo tax,it is easy to use but it would be nice to be able to get more state tax forms

I love TT. I tried another service years ago and it was very confusing. I went back to TT and actually enjoy doing my taxes now!
I love that it imports my info from last year, points out what needs to be reviewed, compares year to year and double-checks things that look odd.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the charitable deduction form. I'm sure I get more back because of it; without it, I would probably just estimate a couple bucks here and there, but when I can itemize 10 shirts, 10 jeans, etc., it really shows how much money I was leaving on the table before.
I also like seeing how the total refund/owe amount changes based on numbers I input.

What's great about it: Love the deduction helper and quick "guide me" method, comparison to last year, info carryover
What's not so great: I wish the filing fees were all included in purchase price.

Overall my experience this year was excellent although I didn't need some of forms which were included on the deluxe software last year. I can understand the frustration if I had needed those forms but overall job well done guys!!

Easy to file every year!

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years now. I like how it brings in the previous years information so I get off to a fast start in getting my taxes done. I also do my children's taxes done just as quickly. Both Federal and State returns are a breeze.
What's great about it: Covers all the deductions quickly to get the best possible return.
What's not so great: None I can think of.

Another great product this year

I ran this on both a PC and Mac and had a significant difference to start with. I finally got them to match after reviewing the HSA info which was incorrect in the PC version. It was probably my fault due to confusion, but the Mac version got it right the first time.
What's great about it: Switched to an Apple Macintosh - much faster than my old PC
What's not so great: Still having trouble with the HSA

Unfortunately dealing with the federal government is never easy. They should be able to make it one page that the common man can figure out. Turbo Tax makes it as easy as it's going to get, even easier when you use it in consecutive years since it pulls last years information and you can compare it with the current year as you enter information.
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to follow step-by-step
What's not so great: Tries to sell you state tax when you live in TN.

Every Year it's TurboTax!

TurboTax is always accurate and just plain simple to use.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, imports last years data, filing's a snap!
What's not so great: Taxes are too complex, but that's not TurboTax's fault
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simple To Use

I spent years preparing taxes for others under various government programs as a volunteer. Turbo Tax makes it so simple. Less than two hours to complete a fully itemized return. Interview process is solid and ability to navigate gets better every year.
What's great about it: Interview tools are exceptional - best in the business
What's not so great: font size could be larger
