Great...until I got to the 1099

3rd year of using Turbo Tax and I love it! This is the first year I've done it with a 1099 though, and I think I could have earned more if I had purchased a different Turbo Tax software - that's a little disappointing. I didn't realize I was getting a 1099, otherwise I would have purchased the business software. Detailing out deductions for the 1099 was difficult and the help suggestions weren't nearly as strong as they are in other areas. Overall though, I really do like Turbo Tax. I used to pay over $300 to get my taxes done and now I can do them on my own!
What's great about it: Quick, detailed, love the audit protection available for peace of mind
What's not so great: 1099-MISC completion... very confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Trouble with On line file and audit defense

It was very easy to use up until the end. It is very frustrating and I have noty yet filed because of the transmission issues

I LOVE using TurboTax for my tax-time hassle. It is easy to use and great for the quick e-file. I appreciate the software every year.

What's great about it: its easy to use and explains everything well
What's not so great: i could not figure out how to download my documents. only option i saw was "print"
