We have used Turbo Tax for over 11 years! We tried to use Tax Cut one year, and regretted it! Turbo Tax is so user friendly!

Easy to Use

Filing the Federal Tax Forms was quick and easy, but the Illinois Tax form required extra work on my part. The 2014 IL-1040 Form was properly and accurately filled out but was not usable because it had "DO NOT FILE" and "FORM NOT FINAL" across it. After comparing the TurboTax form with the form on the IL Dept. of Revenue site, I found them to be identical, so I downloaded a clean form from the state site and transferred all the figures to it. This was an extra step that should not have been necessary.
What's great about it: Made Federal Income Tax filing easy
What's not so great: State Filing required extra steps b/c the Form was "not final"

Fine for what I needed this year

TurboTax made a huge mistake by deleting key forms this year, unless you pay MORE for an upgrade. Didn't affect me because my filing status changed and I didn't need to file Schedule C, but talk among family and friends is definitely negative.
What's great about it: Still great step-by-step guidance
What's not so great: Deleted Schedule C etc unless you pay to upgrade

We have been using turbotax for years. We never stress at tax time... we plug in a few numbers and we are done! accuracy is guaranteed, we will continue to use this product.
What's great about it: easy, quick, affordable and most importantly accurate.
What's not so great: can't think of a thing.

Great Little Tool!

For the money, you can't beat it!!! Other places will give you that "Face-to-Face" interaction but you pay 7~ 15% of your total refund for it. TurboTax was fast, easy and accurate all for around 2% of my refund.......MONEY WELL SPENT!
What's great about it: Easy to follow/understand directions
What's not so great: No list of required Information to fill out TurbTax
