Deluxe "Fed Returns & Fed E-File plus State Return

The product label must let me know I will pay to file a state return. The product as is will not work without more money spent. Arizona used.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: Cost for State Return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Covered my situation adequately. I was in transition from working to retired. Surprised when box came up saying that sched C no longer included, because the was no specific notice about it. That is something I would NOT have expected from Turbo Tax!
A little miffed when I could buy in a store for $10 less in early December
What's great about it: Mostly Complete
What's not so great: Reduction in coverage this year over last year

Nothing beats TurboTax

I have been using TurboTax for years now and I can say it is the best and simplest way to get your taxes done. I don't know about state taxes since my state does not have taxes.
What's great about it: It asks questions -- you answer!
What's not so great: None that I know of.

Problem with IRA Charitable Contribution

I had a problem with having the NC return picking up a charitable contribution direct from my IRA. I had to manually insert it in the NC return despite the instructions saying thaat it would be transferred over automatically from my federal return.

Turbo Tax review

What's great about it: Federal tax forms worked well. Instructions were easy to understand.
What's not so great: Virginia tax process was confusing. Said there were errors, but did not specify the errors.
