Turbo Tax review

For the most part, Turbo Tax is easy and accurate. I would recommend to my family and friends I did not need to contact Customer Service..
What's great about it: is accurate
What's not so great: Insurance deductions are too much detail. Time consuming.

Snap Tax

Filed my taxes in a Snap! Easy, clear yes/no questions that guide you through one of the most dreaded things there is to do.... Almost made it fun! "not"
What's great about it: Knows all the Tax laws and do's and don'ts, Great to see refund building as you go!
What's not so great: A little hard to get used to the format if never used before. Going forward will be a Snap to file using TurboTax.
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great Software

Bought both TurboTax (which I've used for several years) and H&R Block.
Did the taxes on both. TurboTax was by far easier to use and H&R Block missed a step on the transfer that would have caused a $500 error.
Will stick with TurboTax in the future!

The tax return processing fee was a surprise and disappointment. It's all done electronically anyway. That's why I only gave TurboTax four stars instead of five.
