Easy to use

I've used Turbo Tax several years in a row now and really like how easy and convenient it makes doing my taxes.
What's great about it: brings forward last year's info for comparison, too
What's not so great: have to scroll down through all the items you completed in a section in order to get to the next items you need to do

My turbo tax was going along just fine until I tried to e-file State. and then unless I accepted Defense Audit and paid the extra money I cant send it . Now I keep trying and can't send it. This is upsetting!
What's great about it: It was easy until I tried to file my State

Have used this program for years. it updates often, makes you feel like you are in great compliance with changing tax laws and changes. Fully explains each field and has made it easy for me to teach my now adult children to do THEIR own taxes. Thank you Turbo Tax
What's great about it: takes you step by step with help if needed

Can't Beat-it

Step by step flow. Well categorized. Good local help and if needed, had online help to further explain.
What's great about it: Dummy Proof
What's not so great: No included state free e-file
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
