I printed the Calif. return to mail in and the program put my bank information from e-filing the federal.
What's great about it: could e-file the federal
What's not so great: could not e-file the California State

Was a bit concerned this year. I retired in the third quarter and started to collect my pensions and Social Security benefits. It turned out to be the easiest year I've had since using Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Quick, Painless, No Issues
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

As a 5th year user, I find turbo to be user friendly, well explained and the text is large enough to be easily read. The category descriptions are clear ant the program is easy to go forward, back and review. I do have some complaints:
1. At the beginning, the name etc is not carried through subsequent screens.
2. There is too much fluff like screens that congratulate you for completing steps.
4. There are too many review screens in the middle of completing categories. Once is enough at the end.
5. It is not clear how to enter state sales tax instead of state income If no state return is required.

Good and easy to use, I like the fact that it transfers the information from the year before. Also it compares side by side the prior years numbers making mistakes or typo's stand out!

Best Tax Software EVER!

This is my 14th year using TurboTax! My financial situation get to be more and more indepth with home ownership, investments, changing careers, what more can I say? COMPLICATED
The program walks me through step by step and lets me go back to review my entries before it all gets sent to the IRS.

What's great about it: Simple easy to understand questions, lots of information and help.
What's not so great: Takes a minute or two to load and update the software.
