Turbo Tax To The Rescue

I don't usually write reviews, but I've used Turbo Tax for over 13 years and have never been disappointed. The refunds are always the highest possible (without cheating) for the lowest cost. It doesn't require a Rocket Scientist to use the program, even average Joe's like you and me can understand how to use the program. It asks you the questions you wouldn't think of to provide the best return. The cost of the program can even be tax deductible in most cases. I'm usually done in less than 2 hours and once you have completed your first filing, it saves your prior year information so you don't need to repeat it. The Federal e-file is free and the money is in my bank account, usually within 15 days or less. You can pay more elsewhere, but why?

Need easier "what if" options

TT is very easy to use, especially when it pulls data from prior returns. We have a fairly simple return to file, but it would be nice if it were easier to run through "what ifs" while in the middle of the return - as opposed to going through the process of checking at the end. It seems like the "Geek Squad" could figure out a way to check as you go. For us, it was the MFJ vs. MFS question. This is a pretty immaterial observation - TT is so easy to use and provides easy advice I plan to continue to use it in perpetuity.

Amazing product!

For years, I was afraid of the day I would do my taxes for the first time, as I had heard many horror stories. People lose money, they get audited, and could even go to jail. Being tech savvy, I invested in TurboTax. I thoroughly enjoyed filing my taxes electronically! It only took me a few minutes, was verified for errors, and best of all, I'm getting a pretty good refund! Without a doubt, TurboTax is worth every penny!
What's great about it: Quick, easy, and safe!
What's not so great: None!

Great for married homeowner

Very easy to use. I saw a lot of negative reviews, but I have used Turbotax since the Commodore Amiga days -- a long time. It has always performed well with no major issues. That said, I do have a mortgage, but sell no stocks and do not own a small business, so your mileage may vary.
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: federal AND state e-file should be free with program -- they are free online.

Turbo Tax is Magic

My husband and I love Turbo Tax. It is so easy to use and we were amazed by the incorporating features that brought in my W-2 information from my job, it was awesome. I will purchase this program every year.

Quick and easy to complete

I've used Turbo Tax for many years now. It is great to have my previous year's information automatically entered. We are very satisfied with the power and convenience of turbo tax.
What's great about it: loved the simple format and easy to understand questions
What's not so great: just don't like doing my taxes!
