Great refund

I have been using TurboTax for many years now and I have seen many improvements. It saved me a lot of time by downloading info from last years return.. Every year it downloads more to make my tax filing go easier-less stress.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Even with all the added junk the government has added.
What's not so great: Did not want to load from Windows 8.

Turbo Tax Going Downhill

Have used Turbo tax for more years than I can remember. However, this may be the last. I continue to use as it loads all the information from the previous year and makes that simple. However, this year there were items not highlighted to review, and some boxes were incorrectly checked. The final straw is the program is now not able to allow me to file electronically with my state because I have a 529 plan. An error comes up stating this can not be electronically filed. The "support page" has others asking this question with just the response we need to file by mail. This is crazy because last year using this program I was able to electronically file with the state with a 529 plan .... no problem. I pay way too much for this program to then be told I need to compile a bunch of papers and lick an envelope. Terrible
What's great about it: familiar, used for many years
What's not so great: not as good as it once was, does not support same items

GOT MY REFUND WITH EASE!

TURBO TAX WAS VERY EASY TO USE. IT TOOK ME THROUGH EVERYTHING NEEDED TO GO THROUGH AND DOUBLE CHECKS IT ALL BEFORE CONFIRMING AND SUBMISSION OF FILES. SECURITY OF MY IDENTITY WAS KEPT AT THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE. WILL KEEP USING TURBO TAX AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE OUT THERE.
What's great about it: EASY TO USE, VERY THOROUGH, TELLS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
What's not so great: NONE

A little disappointed

I have used TurboTax for several years and reasonably happy with it except for it getting more expensive over the years. The price didn't go up this year for the Deluxe version which is probably why they took out the ability to process stocks in it. You have to buy a more expensive version for stocks now. I will be looking for another company to help me with my taxes next year.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Can't figure Stocks and Bonds in Deluxe version

Life made easier

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and it's the best way to do it yourself.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and it does all the complicated calculations
What's not so great: I don't like doing cririques. If I didn't like it I wouldn't have bought it.
