It took about two hours to complete my federal and state returns using Turbo Tax. I'm confident everything was accurate.

Easy and Fast

This was my first time using TurboTax. It was fairly easy to move through the process step by step. However, some questions were a little confusing and I just had to answer to the best of my ability. Will likely use again next year!
What's great about it: Walked me through step by step
What's not so great: Some parts were confusing and I wasn't sure if I was completing correctly

Have used this product for ten years, generally satisfied but had difficulty switching back and forth between my wife's information and my information on a joint return, especially in the area of reporting union dues.
What's great about it: walks you through everything
What's not so great: Not easy to switch between my wife's and my info'filing a joint return

Long-Time Customer, pretty happy with TurboTax

Been happy with Turbotax for about a dozen years and come back each year. No issues, and certainly don't miss the series of forms Turbotax removed from Deluxe version this year, so I guess I never needed them. The only complaint I have is that in the past couple of years, Turbotax doesn't forward my tax information from the prior year's returns, which is really frustrating...this year and at least for 2013 as well, I've had to manually load everything in, whereas in the past, that information always populated from the prior year. Searches of the help database online didn't elicit any responses. Sad.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: Hasn't carried information forward from prior years

Easy to use

I have used Turbo Tax since 2008, and was a bit frustrated this year when I had to purchase the actual software because I needed to file a couple forms that were not included in the online version. I hope that I will be able to access this years filing at turbotax.com as that has been a big plus for me in the past few years, being able to sign into my turbo tax account and print a prior years return if I needed it.
What's great about it: walks you thru everything
What's not so great: Some Forms cannot be accessed in online version
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's not so great: Sometimes there are gliches, takes time to go back and find answers if you get stuck

Overall, Turbo Tax is good; however, I miss the household income comparison that Turbo Tax previously had built in. I liked to view other households in my income range and see their average deductions in comparison to mine. Why did Turbo Tax eliminate this feature?
What's great about it: Easy as always
What's not so great: Miss the comparison of others in my income bracket

Overall a very good tool to do your taxes. looks a for all deductions and credits and helps you if e-file is rejected as mine was.
What's great about it: Easy to follow with step by step directions.
What's not so great: Didn't have the ability to stop and continue at a later date.
