I Love Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax is great, it is quick to use, easy to understand and always gets me the best refund.

The program would just stop working. Had to end task at least 6 times. I was thankful that most information had been saved but frustrated that it happened so many times. I started my return at 8:05pm and was complete by 9:45pm. I don't think it should have taken that long as my return is pretty straight forward. However, the program freezing, having to stop and re-start really slowed me down.
If not for the restarting, all went really well. I will still buy Turbo Tax in the future. Having the convenience of my last year's return available and finding my W2 from my company is incredibly slick.

What's great about it: Went so quickly. Covered all the bases. Watched my refund grow and grow.
What's not so great: Had to restart the program 6 times during my filing. Often having to re-do some sections.

EZ Refund

Turbotax is still the best for folks like me who don't make a lot of money and file the 1040ez. They also have options for folks with businesses and those who need the extra forms in their premier edition.
What's great about it: Quick to complete, less than an hour for me
What's not so great: Still didn't transfer all forms (W-2, HSA)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Sorta OK, but with problems

There was a recurrent problem with Line 1(b)-2, but Turbo Tax did not tell me how or where to fix it. Searched for online help, but people's questions about Line 1(b)-2 were not answered.
What's great about it: I don't have to fill out the forms
What's not so great: Not a huge time savings over filling out the forms

Easy, helpful and quick!

I've used Turbo Tax for 13 yrs and have found it to be quick and easy to my filing needs. I've had friends go to financial consultants to do their taxes because they believed they would save them money, but when I punched their W2 numbers into the program the returns came out the same!! :)
What's great about it: Provided all the necessary help to my concerns and questions

Mixed Bag

Support person was great. but would'nt of had to call if only the E-file for federal was not connected to paying for the State return. could not enter Charge card and so was locked from completeing without the wonderful gent at support.
What's great about it: The support person who helped us through a error in turbo tax program
What's not so great: Had to call support for help because E-Filing the federal won't work till state is payed for

Best Tax software on the market!

This is the first year that I have used Turbo Tax, I spent the previous years using HR Block, and I must say Turbo Tax beats that by a mile.
The program is very user friendly and goes into great detail about every little piece of tax law, I was able to get a good understanding of how everything affects my filing.
I would definitely recommend Turbo Tax over any other program on the market.
What's great about it: Easy to use and to navigate
What's not so great: Minor glitches with the software
