WHY PAY SOMEONE?

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. Importing data from previous years speeds up the process. It also allows me to see how I compared with last year. This acts as a sort of self check just in case I missed something. Turbo Tax does a thorough check but like any program, it is only as good as the data being input. It is easy to save and resume using as more data comes in. Watching the refund number on top of the screen is nice.
What's great about it: Easy, line by line. Imports data from previous years.
What's not so great: None.

packaging not as detailed informative. Put it on front not the back in less than 12 pitch font.

Turbo Tax explains everything in common terms and if I had any questions, I was able to search by key words and found my answer quickly. This made me more comfortable and more confident in submitting my tax return.

Turbo Tax does all the work for you. This is the right software for 90% of Americans who do their own taxes. For those who use a tax preparer, if you do not have investment gains or loss, real estate, inheritance, etc... there is no reason to not use Turbo Tax.
To Turbo Tax, Thank You for making the HSA easier to fill out this year. In the past it had been an area of concern for me and my fellow peers at work on if we completed all the forms correctly. This year you took out all the guess work.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, takes out all the guess work, asks all the right questions, imports previous years data
What's not so great: None

It took less than an hour to complete both our federal & state returns with no errors.

State Filing

I was having difficulty due to an internal error filing my state refund. After being discouraged with customer service, i got a gentleman, names Scott, who went above and beyond. Working in the public sector i know how important customer service is, and this young man went above and beyond to help me. It was truly appreciated all the way around. Thanks you!

Love Turbo Tax

I have used TurboTax for years and have found it very easy to understand and I feel confident that I am getting the max refund that is available to me.
What's great about it: i like how they walk thru everything
What's not so great: I don't like that you have to pay to efile the state tax
