Great resource for average taxpayer

I'll buy it again
What's great about it: Effeciency in the process
What's not so great: Experienced tax preparers may be too many instructions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The process was simple but with tax law changes continually targeting the middle class worker, a refund appears to be in the past.
What's great about it: Hit on all aspects of schedules, deductions, cross checking

Tedious, but easy and awesome!

Honestly, this is the best and easiest way to file your taxes. It also saves you the cost of having to pay a "tax professional" when this software does it. In fact, I'm pretty sure they probably use the exact same software...they probably just rebrand it and label their software after whatever their company's called (i.e., "INSERT TAX PREP COMPANY'S NAME" Tax Software). Seriously, do yourself a major favor and use TurboTax to get an awesome return by filing your taxes yourself.
What's great about it: I didn't have to pay an accountant to do something this simple.
What's not so great: It took awhile filling in each line...line after line.

Superb instructions and process

Every year I brace for a big project. The biggest project is gathering supporting documents, otherwise, TurboTax makes the rest easy as long as instructions are read completely and time is devoted to accuracy. Love understanding where the money all goes! Thanks.
