my software would not allow me to complete my taxes. Carol was absolutley wonderful. She stayed with me on the phone for over an hour troubleshooting until we finally got it right. She is absolutely an asset to your company! Way to go Carol!!! Thank you.

Long Time Turbo Tax User

I thought I had sent the final return and I did not get a refund. I went back to Turbo Tax and realized I had not sent my return.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax has nice layout easy to enter needed data in a confusing systems
What's not so great: This year I had a very difficult time electronically sending my tax return

I really would prefer to use the online form but since I can not file multiple efiles I have to do the download.
Also I got really confused with the 1099R-but it's possibly waiting till the last minute type of confusion.

What's not so great: wish i could jump around more and on the state thing I would like the system to take me to the section I need to correct

TurboTax is a great tool for Tax preparation.

I have been using TurboTax for Years and I believe it is current with any new IRS regulations. It explains the tax laws simply and clearly. This tool is worth the money it saves you.
What's great about it: I like the helpful accurate information TurboTax provides.
What's not so great: There is nothing that I dislike.

Another year into the file cabinet

One item is becoming more important to us. I am a totally disabled veteran. My VA compensation is NON taxable. It is used to compute my total Florida sales tax exemption.
I was not able to Find the T-Tax procedure to do this in previous years. This year, I "stumbled" across it and was able to take advantage of all the FL sales tax that I paid.
This procedure should be better captioned. Its important.
What's great about it: No math errors
What's not so great: Cons are mostly on IRS
