User Friendly

TurboTax is the next best thing to sitting down in front of a Tax Preparer. I like it a lot. My only adjustment would be is to review the contribution area. I believe there is a major attempt to capture all areas, but maybe a drop down menu adjustment would help lead from the area of beds & linens over to quilts. (Hope this is clear), But, otherwise...keep up the great work! Thanks!
What's great about it: The support along the way if there are questions.
What's not so great: Contribution items need better drop down menu.

Great program

It is a great program & I have used it for years.
It would be nice to see the break down & a special section for DOT transportation required users. I t can be a pain going from your site to the IRS & looking up all of the meals & gratuities to calculate daily meal values. I know I am allowed so much a day to eat & it would be nice to see that in the "Learn More" drop down explanation.
It also would be nice if like going thru the 9 sections of deductions that when you finished a sub menu that it came back to that sub section instead of the top so you have to scroll thru the whole menu again. Would speed up productivity & keep everything working right. My file folders for my records are put in order for that & if I take a break then I have to start all over again.
Thanks for such a great program & I order mine way in advance just so I know I will have it at tax time.
What's great about it: I liked how it walked me thru each section
What's not so great: It always went back to the top of the page & not the section you just finished

What happened ???

After printing my copy it shows a Business income on Line 12 of $1,299.
I had no business and entered NO business information.
Did you just make me pay tax on this amount ???

Turbo tax is great. It makes giving that pond of flesh a bit easier....

What's not so great: PA charged to E file. That should be illegal

easy to use

two years ago i returned H & R Block and purchased Turbo Tax.
Turbotax then had all the forms i needed Block did not. I used to work for block as a tax preparer till i retired. I found turbo tax easier to use with better explanations. I was able to transfer the prior years information easily to the year I was working. Was able to get access to financial info easily. Using the whole form option was a big help when I need to track where a number landed on a form. Transmitting my forms electronically was really easy. Also tracking the emailed return was simple. I liked getting
e mail conformations that the return was accepted or if there was a problem what the problem was.

So easy!

I have been using TurboTax for several years now. They do a
fine job of updating all the new tax law changes each year. The best thing about TurboTax is its ease of use and the perfectly accurate tax return that is completed each year.
