Simple as buttering bread

I've been using Turbo tax since the early 80's off and on even when I had my own business still using it due to it being thorough and easy to follow. I have no accounting background and I am still able to follow the directions and do my taxes.
What's great about it: simple instruction and easy to understand even for the novice
What's not so great: none that I found

I've used Turbo Tax for years and I like how it goes through everything and asked questions about on every subject.
What's great about it: Really easy to complete
What's not so great: the search could be a litlle easier

What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: It's a little tricky at the end paying with tax, fee and state fee with credit card

Overall, Turbo Tax is a good software. But needs some improvements and fine tuning.

Faulty Healthcare Form For EIC Dependents Only

I have two dependents. One is for EIC only, as per the custody agreement with my ex. Turbo tax was not prepared with their new healthcare coverage form. The software would not allow for e-filing, without tech support involvement, as it would not allow for removing EIC only dependents from the form. I received an error over an over again on my final review. I spent an hour with tech support, after thirty minutes searching my own solutions on their community help section. Not impressed this year... I'm already two months late. Surely, that extra hour and a half was most critical. ;)
What's great about it: Everything carried over from all the years in the past
What's not so great: Took an hour with tech support to e-file

No time, No problem

I am super busy with 5 kids, work and kids activities. This program is affordable and so convenient. I can start it, stop, save it and then return to it later. There is no need for making an appointment, dragging all my paperwork and myself to drive to a tax preparers office that will do the same as Turbo Tax but charge me more.
What's great about it: Convenient and great for a working mother of 5 kids
What's not so great: none as of this time
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
