Been a TTax fan for long, long time....but nobodys

Sometimes the reviews seem to far removed from the forms. I find more clarity when going to a form, and can get lost in your EZ step...sometimes. The EZ step process is overall a philosophy set to simplify the amount of redundant entries and to clarify the flow of the filling in the forms process. Yet, sometimes, especially when I have a single entry, I found I was going through unnecessary hoops e.g. I had one investment transaction, received a payment from mom's estate annuity, yet the ez step seemed to never get me there.
What's great about it: Information gets filled in....
What's not so great: some steps get too convoluted...see below
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

wow! so easy it's scary

I don't have a lot of special deductions or a home etc so mine were pretty easy- I do however have child tax credits and the other one- those forms can be tricky and wording of dirrections can be difficult to know if you are doing it right. It takes the guess work out- also I made an error in my 2012 taxes which would have been avoided with this program. I will definitely use it again for 2015 taxes.
What's great about it: fast easy, explanations built right in, takes out the guess work
What's not so great: hope it's accurate

Simplifies Complicated Taxes

As a self-employed person, I find taxes to be very intimidating. Turbo Tax walks you through the whole process, and if you miss something (a critical receipt turns up, for example), you can always add it in later. With TurboTax I feel confident that the forms are done correctly, and I still maintain control of my finances, while deepening my understanding of what is happening to my money in the world of the IRS.
What's great about it: The expert support is awesome
What's not so great: I did need a little extra help
Pros: I bought or sold investments

2 Years in a row... NO ELECTRONIC DEPOSIT

This is the second year I have to wait 3-4 weeks for my refund check because the e-refund did not work.
What's great about it: It is easy to use and it remembers last years info.
What's not so great: Electronic deposit did not work AGAIN.

Love It!

This software has helped me and saved me $$$ for several years now. It is so easy. I can't imagine anyone wasting their hard earned dollars on taking all their info to a CPA or tax preparer and having someone else do it for them.
What's great about it: User friendlyness (is that a word??!!)
What's not so great: Don't have any

I use this every year and it just keeps getting better. I love the fact it imports all my info from the previous year to speed up a job I don't like doing anyways...
What's great about it: Fast... easy to understand and find answers if needed and the layout is easy, even for 1st time users.
What's not so great: Can be pricey if you don't scout around for a decent price online.. Also the new program tiers are frustrating.
