if you have no kid why go over a lot of questions that are always not for you in the end ?
What's great about it: the flow thur the input to fileing
What's not so great: had to go thur sections that could not apply to me
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

I thought the software worked very well

The state software dictates when it will use the free state tax filing. If I am doing more than one state tax return maybe I don't want to use the state free filing on the first state tax return but hold off for the second return. The system will not allow me to do that it always give away the free state tax return on the first tax return. I don't think that is a right way of doing it.
So maybe you can work on getting this changed for next year filling . Thank you!!!

What's great about it: Very easy and good menus to follow
What's not so great: I would like to decide when I want to use the free state filing and not the software.

Improvement Needed

If there is a student in the household who wants to use the family's Deluxe CD version to file a 1040EZ, he/she should be able to get the Deluxe to do this but cannot. The tax info from the TT Deluxe for the prior year cannot be transferred to the 1040EZ but only to a 1040. One shouldn't be forced to go TT online to file the 1040EZ if I already have the Deluxe CD.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Cannot use the Deluxe CD version to complete a 1040EZ

Love the Ease of click and move- Like Gliding through the everglades- well without shades of course! Gotta keep your eye on the prize or at least the refund dial!
