I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it easy and convenient. If you use the guided "tour" method, you'll seldom go wrong. I always use the Audit Defense when done. Several years ago, this saved us many thousands of dollars.
My only problem is when I do MA state return with apportioning. I am able to work around it but it took some time to learn.
What's great about it: Very simple step by step method
What's not so great: Non resident MA return is a bit tricky

I have used Turbotax for years. You continue to provide the best tax software that anyone could use. Everything is laid out perfectly from start to finish. It is like connect the dots.
What's great about it: Has everything anyone would need to complete a tax return
What's not so great: What cons? Well it isnt a real person
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Thorough but not overwhelming

Excellent source for not only doing your taxes with calculations performed for you, it also has helpful info about what is going on usually with a single click.
What's great about it: Bing bang boom, you'r done. Only enough questions are asked per your situation to get the job done. Intelligent programm
What's not so great: Though not too hard, nothing made for 1040-EZ forms. It might have helped my son do his given health insurance costs

Assistance From the Tax Support Department

My contact with the Tax Support division (after being transferred from the Turbo Tax representative who initially took my call) was perfect. I needed assistance to verify figures entered through Turbo Tax for VA state taxes as the figures differed greatly from previous years of VA state filings I had completed manually up until 2013. The representative, Cathy, who is very knowledgeable assisted me professionally and with such a great attitude. She is a credit to the Turbo Tax system. I am a happy customer who is grateful for Cathy's patience. I can honestly say this service offered through the Turbo Tax system will keep me coming back to use Turbo Tax again!

Turbo Tax Review

Very fine and easy to use, but in prior years Turbo Tax, I believe there was a save button on the bottom of each page, in case you had to stop and do something else..
What's great about it: Very fine and easy to use.
What's not so great: No save button, like prior years.

Did not allow me to efile state return
