What's great about it: fast easy helpful
What's not so great: Does not copy basic stuff from prior turbo tax ex. name and address

Pretty good experience.
I was unable to file on time as I've been ill, and having trouble finding the right dosage of blood pressure medicine. My son and daughter-in-law are too busy to help me and I don't ask.
Turbo Tax made it easy this year. I'm getting enough money back to cover a trip to AZ to visit my grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Turbo Saved My Tax Returns Being Filed on Time

I appreciate Turbo Tax always keeping up with all the necessary changes and I trust them to take care of that.
I am 100% disabled and had a few healthcare issues that prevented me from starting our taxes until April 14, 2015. I was able to finish our taxes using Turbo Tax, e-filing at 11:00PM on April 15, 2015. Thanks for being so user friendly and enabling me to finish.

What's great about it: The way it lets you use Turbo Tax at your own speed.
What's not so great: As you answer questions, Turbo will let you fill out specific forms that you know you don't need.

Well, not so sure

I did my taxes on April 135h, then found they had not filed. So I refiled on April 17th and both Fed and state were rejected. They said the Payer's Federal ID numbers were wrong. So I rechecked my print out and found I had the right ID numbers. What happened? I don't know. Anyway, I am refiling now.

Had hard time on working out business mileage. Since I quit using vehicle before years end, program assumed I sold or got rid of vehicle, Did neither- I retired- quit working. Couldn't find way to achieve that status

I have been using a program since 1997 when Tax Cut was out and switched to Turbo Tax when it came out and there's no other way I would do my taxes

Disappointed!

At the end of the year I had not receive any letters from IRS but in February of 2015 I received a letter that I owe over 4/5 of the 2013 refund that I received from the 2014 return I filed with Turbo Tax software that was completely inaccurate and I am very disappointed that the software did not meet my expectations using the 1040A tax form.
What's great about it: Liked it automatically filled most of the spaces quickly
What's not so great: Calculations were way off...
