Wish I had known it was this easy

Used to work for a major tax preparer. This was so much easier.
What's great about it: Easy, intuitive
What's not so great: Little slow on transmission
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have recommended Turbo Tax to several of my friends about four years ago, and to this day they are still going strong using Turbo Tax. Keep up the good work!!!! Great product. Wish I had invented it. Lol.....
What's great about it: I like the way Turbo Tax has always walked you through step by step of your return.
What's not so great: I didn't notice any "cons" to mention; I been using Turbo Tax since 2007.

What a Great Relief!

I love using Turbo Tax each year to file my taxes. It used to take me hours to read and understand the tax booklets and then fill out the paper forms and mail them. turbo tax cuts it to just a couple of hours and would be even faster if I had all of the information I need together at the start. But Turbo Tax often alerts me to deductions that I had not considered. Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Way faster than filling out paper forms all day!
What's not so great: Would like a little more explanation on the State tax results. Like, why did I owe taxes for the first time this year?

DID I MEANTION MY INTUIT REP NORMAN WAS AMAZING - WELL HE IS AND WAS DURING MY PERSONAL CRISIS. EVEN IF I HAD TO OWE, I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN MAD BECAUSE NORMAN MADE THE PROCESS SOO PLEASANT. AT TIMES I THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO SAY WELL MAAM I HAVE DONE ALL I CAN, GOOD LUCK - INSTEAD NORMAN SAID IM HERE, LETS TRY THIS OR LETS TRY THAT. HE NEVER GAVE UP ON ME. I WISH HE WAS APART OF MY TEAM AT WORK! I NEED A COUPLE OF 'NORMANS' AT MY JOB. KUDOS TO NORMAN INTUIT IS LUCKY TO HAVE YOU! NORMAN FROM CHEERS :)
What's great about it: NORMAN WAS TRULY AMAZING, HE HELD MY HAND AND WALKED ME THRU EVERY USER ERROR/SELF INFLECTED MISTAKE I MADE! THANK YOU!
What's not so great: CONS IS THAT I COULD NOT TAKE NORMAN WITH ME - COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT HIM, LITERALY!!!!!

Had use TT for a hundred years (really for a long)

It's getting better. Had a few problems before. For 2014, I was confused (it's just me) with the difference between Mortgage Insurance and Hazard Insurance. I had to Google it to find they're not the same and I did not claim it.
What's great about it: Easy to understand
What's not so great: Some tax items can be confusing

I needed to talk with someone and know what was being done about completing the fix. What I got was an affective problem solver with lacking people skills. I would recommend that they affirm what they will do to resolve the issue and what I should do when the fix is in place. It's 12:35 central time and I get up for work at 4 am. I will be mailing in my fed and state forms because a flag was found. The flag I believe is caused from no dollar value in their box 1 of the w2 and in box 12a a dollar amount was added precluded by a alfa J (meaning non taxable third party sick pay. Good night. This is year nine with your fine group.
What's great about it: Nice pace to complete.
What's not so great: challenged my initial retirement 1099R

IDIOTS GUIDE TO FILING TAXES

I USED TO FILE USING A PROFESSIONAL C.P.A. AND EVERY YEAR I USED HIM, I WAS NOTIFIED OF ERRORS...EVERY YEAR.
I HAVE NOT HAD ONE PROBLEM SINCE DISCOVERING TURBO TAX.
ANYONE CAN FILE. IF YOU CAN READ....YOU CAN DO THIS. BELIEVE ME.... YOU CAN DO IT!
