Easy to follow and understand

The program is very easy to use. If you have more than 1 state the cost for the state and the efile fees start to add up.
What's great about it: Auto download of W-2s
What's not so great: Cost of extra 2nd state and extra efile fee.

This program does not disappoint for the federal and for initial calculations for the state. Have used and will continue to use this program due to the way that questions are asked and great output in the end.
What's great about it: Good prompts with ease of answering and review
What's not so great: Wish could see the form with figures as working on the return

When I had trouble finishing the lady I talked to was very pleasant and helped me finish it very easily, even on a very stressful evening (4/15).
What's great about it: easy to follow step by step instructions
What's not so great: Had difficulty paying for state filing at end

I went to a tax preparation center and let them find out what I could get back. When they saw that I used turbo tax last year they gave me many reasons why they are better. When they finished and told me what I was going to get back I went back to buy Turbo tax and in less time then I spent with them Turb tax foung me over $400.00 more in refunds .
What's great about it: Quick and easy to follow
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax 2014

I started out this tax year working on the "free" internet version assuming that it would work as well as the programs that I had purchased in the past. I wasn't looking for something for free, I assumed that I would be charged for the software when I went to file. The online version was so frustrating that I almost didn't purchase the downloadable version. I took the chance since the software had worked easily for me the past few years. What a relief it was when the software worked the way I expected it too. Smooth interface, easy information input, and explanations for areas that were new to me. Since a few of us have been hit with an unexpected bill, it would be nice to include a payment option that allowed the use of more than one credit card.
What's great about it: The TurboTax Deluxe downloadable software worked beautifully.
What's not so great: The online "free" version of Turbo Tax was so horrible I really struggled with the decision to buy the full version.
