Program loaded well but when I went to open it i got an Error 42016 message. After several retries I selected not to retry and the program opened. I input my data until it asked if I wanted to download the state and when I said yes I got the same error message. For several evenings I followed the recommendations on the help screen and got nowhere. I finally called for a live technician. I waited on the phone for almost two hours before speaking to someone. The gentleman was very courteous and helpful it took us almost an hour of tinkering until we found a patch to download and then the state loaded. I thanked him profusely.
What's great about it: I love this program and have used it for years
What's not so great: Error 42016
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I filed my 2013 taxes by mail last year because I was I the hospital for six weeks and couldn't e file. I want to e file this year but can't because the IRS wants a e file number and our AGI from last year. It would be nice if I could talk to some one.

Keeps Getting Better

Turbo Tax has a good track record of accurate and fast paperwork / forms.....and is easy enough for even me.
What's great about it: I have filed with TurboTax for 7 years and keep coming back, it's great
What's not so great: don't wait until last minute like I did, one snag with downloading

I like the fact that it imports the previous year's taxes. It offers tips and suggestions as you file your taxes.

Good, BUT...

Generally good, maybe even better than last year. But still sends you back to the top of a section instead of going back where you left off; i.e., 10 deduction areas and every time you finish one you're back at number one. Do 6, back at 1; do 9 and back at one. The same for all the areas. It's really lame and time consuming. I'd also like it to just print review pages from the screen. Good program and I've been using it for about 10 years now.
What's great about it: Leads me pretty well
What's not so great: Keeps going back to the top of each section
