I have used Turbo Tax over 10 years and foundit to be easy and intuative. My Sister is a CPA and I have had her review my retures in years that had complicated situations. In each case she said that the return was done correctly and she did not see any changes needed

Great Program

This is a great program for doing your taxes. I've used it for about 10 years and it just keeps getting better and better.
What's great about it: Integration with ItsDeductible
What's not so great: Easily being able to see the form as you fill in data.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love the link to Deduct It where you can value your charitable contributions. Like the ability to e-file the Fed return for free, which means no waiting in line at the Post Office, even when it's the first time I filed on Apr. 15.
It also helps you by asking helpful questions to try to help you find business deductions (Are you a teacher? Did you move because of your job? Did you have over $7000 of medical expenses in 2014?) It's also nice that it compares last year to this year so you can compare what you may have missed. And, at the end, it compares your percentages against those of average tax payers to see if there are any fields that may raise flags which could possibly trigger an audit.
What's great about it: No confusing forms, just entry boxes. Can Download W-2s from most Payroll sites.
What's not so great: If you use the wizard it'll take you through many fields you probably won't need.

Great Software

I've used turbo tax for years, more than 10, I think. It has always served me well. It asks lots of questions, to help guide you through the forms. If you have a question, most of the time you can click on a very informative help link.
Yay. Turbo Tax. I look forward to improvements every year.
What's great about it: Almost always easy to use

Great But for Some Help Areas Need More

Turbo Tax has been great - used it for several years. The security scare this year was not good - for first time was somewhat hesitant to use for 2014. Several of the help screens could offer more information - going to a community is not my idea of a quick reference, and becoming in my mind, more of a "cop out". I work with systems, and seems more application vendors are being lazy, and passing on knowledge they should provide to the source being a community. Community is okay, but I believe there is a risk with accuracy.
What's great about it: Step by step walk through is great - helpful
What's not so great: Some helps very vague
