Made it again.

We have been using Turbo Tax for many years and trust that it's been complete and correct for our filing.
What's great about it: We had new changes and Turbo Tax made it easy.
What's not so great: Was a little harder to find our exception.

Stressfree Filing

I started using TurboTax last year after having spent hours at the tax preparer's office in previous years. It is a very simple product to use, especially if one suffers from procrastination and/or from tax season anxiety. From start to finish, it took about 90 minutes to file my returns. I appreciate the straightforward and simple questions. That feature makes the whole process less stressful and...."taxing!"
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand!

Quality is slipping

I've use Turbo Tax for years. I tried other tax software, but always came back to Turbo Tax. However, this year, I had trouble tracing results.The summary seemed off and when I looked at forms, I couldn't get the numbers to add up the same. I also got frustrated that it kept trying to get me to upgrade to business version for $1000 of income on contract labor I performed.
What's great about it: easy to use, step by step, interview like helps catch everything
What's not so great: hard to go back and review input or track data in the forms.

My Refund

I've been using Turbo Tax for years. For whatever silly reason, I decided to go cheap this year and took my taxes to a group offering free services at the public library. I know now that wasn't the right way to go. The person who did my taxes concluded that I owed $2800 and some change. I wanted a second opinion. I decided to buy Turbo Tax, again, and ended up not owing the IRS money, but now receiving a refund. Turbo Tax save me over $2500 this year. What else can I say?
What's great about it: Incredibly easy to use
What's not so great: can't think of any at the moment

Business expenses

I had to enter some business expenses and there was just so much information to enter and calculate. I was able to read through the explanations and get a good idea but it was still a long process.
What's great about it: Good Explanations of items

Perfect tax return

I have been using TurboTax for 10 years and I believed it was the best tax software. It provided the step-by-step guideline and no tax knowledge required, all I needed to do is answering simple questions about myself then I am done. However I was unable to import my W2, and hopefully they will make this convenient features work better next year.
Overall it was the best when compared to the other tax product.

What's great about it: The best part I liked in Turbotax is the "Step-by-step guideline".
What's not so great: Even though it is a good tax software, but some features will not work right.
