Every year preparing my returns gets easier thanks

Turbo Tax is excellent. One year I tried another brand of tax program and found it so cumbersome and confusing that I went out and bought Turbo Tax that same day and had no more problems.
What's great about it: Using Turbo Tax is like having someone holding your hand.
What's not so great: I changed computers and could not copy 2013 on a thumb drive. If it did copy onto the thumb drive, I was not able use it
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Always get a refund!

Easy way to file my taxes and look for those deductions I may have otherwise overlooked. Since I started using TurboTax I've only owed money once, and that's over 8 years.
What's great about it: Simple to use and covers all possible deductions

costs too much

It's a tax program, nothing special. The costs are too high especially for efiling states. The cost for the program should be less for those who have purchased in the past.
What's great about it: it did what it is supposed to do but the cost to efile states is too much

Great product!

Turbo Tax save us a bunch of money and was easy to use. I will be using it in the future, and be filing as soon as we get our tax forms from work.
What's great about it: Easy to use, and it walks you through the process step by step.
What's not so great: It takes a while, and cost to e-file state. You only get one state filing with multiple federal filings.

Turbo Tax Experience

I have been using Turbo Tax for 23 years. It has made doing my own taxes something that can be completed without the never-ending frustration of dealing with the IRS or reading incomprehensible tax booklets. All forms are included and cover every possible need. The software is question based and online help is always available. I can't imagine doing taxes without it.
What's great about it: Awesome software and tax law support. Very user friendly.
What's not so great: None

Painful process this year

pain in the butt!!

The software online is horrible. Put me in a loop that stopped me from filing. Not sure how many people you have on online chat but.. Sarah W saved me tonight. Made it stress free and deserves a raise! She is awesome. Turned my headache into being done with this horrible tax day! Until next year...
