I completed my tax return withTurboTax. TurboTax is easy to follow. The program guide you through the process and you learn with the program to get the deductions appropriate for you. I being using this program for several year and is great. I recommend this program you can learn really easy.
What's great about it: TurboTax is oustanding

The most negative part of this experience was having to walk in to the (major retailer) to purchase. After years of spending hundreds of dollars to have a cpa prepare my taxes, I decided to switch to turbo tax; wish I would have decided sooner. My employment requires a review of my yearly tax filing, and the turbo tax documents have never been questioned. With the money I have saved on the cpa, I just pay for the audit protection and have peace of mind WITH a bigger return.
What's great about it: simple, explanatory, quick

It makes paying taxes less painful

I've been a customer for over 10 years. I love the ease and convenience of Turbo Tax. It makes the process of filing a tax return much easier and, of course, faster. You can save money by doing it yourself. Your only investment is time and the cost of the software. I think it is a great deal.

fast and simple

pretty good product, fast and easy to use. The only downside was that some instructions were missing or hard to find. The import of the w-2 was not clear how or when that was going to take place. It was more difficult to import from last years employer than a new one, and it should have been more clear when that was going to take place. It did not attempt to import from last years employer, just went straight to fill it in yourself. Other than that, quick and simple.

Great Service, as Usual

The usual breezy ability to file the return early and correctly is the hallmark of Turbo-Tax. Others may claim they are helping, but with just a little effort, you can easily do it yourself, save a boat-load of money, and still get the convenience and peace of mind that Turbo Tax is noted for.
While I've used them for almost 3 decades, the ability to read and review the applicable sections of the tax code are great, plus you get the people-speak for what it really means. When you fall into special situations, when you are just a normal taxpayer, with a special situation, and when you are well within the limits that you won't provoke an audit by claiming what you legitimately have. Again, this is the hallmark of these people, and they seem to have covered all the bases, and done most of your leg work for you. Plus comparison with previous year's returns is a great help and takes a lot of strain off your mind.
They get you just as much as the high-priced services, without spending an arm and a leg, and waiting for some overworked temporary employee to see if they can save you something. That's really peace of mind!
What's great about it: Easy to get through the Medical Care portion, always easy entry
What's not so great: IRS late changes made Sales Tax a problem for those from non-income tax States
