I would like a better explanation of the codes with a 1099r withdrawal.

This is the fourth consecutive year that we have used Turbo Tax Deluxe, and each year the process is easier despite the changes in IRS rules. The " ItsDeductable OnLine" tool really facilitates compiling deductions, and the capability to import data from W2s, 1099s, etc. is an AMAZING feature.
We also appreciate the intermittent flags for checking the accuracy of the data and suggestions for credits that we had not considered. AND YOU CANNOT BE THE PRICE!
Bottom line, we really like your product and will see next year! GREAT JOB!

What's great about it: Keeps it simple..............
What's not so great: Suggest you include a warning to "SAVE" the data throughout the process.

Easy Peasy!!

I prepared my on return last year using forms and guidance documents. I had not done my returns that way for many years. Even though my return is not complicated (W-2 and son in college), in these days, filling out the forms is complicated and confusing. With Turbo tax, I didn't have to worry if I am making a mistake. All I had to do is answer the questions. Well worth the cost of the software.
What's great about it: So easy that a cave man can do it. Interactive method and built in smarts makes it simple for the user.
What's not so great: Had to spend some time going through the registration process.

All in all, an easy way to file for our family.
What's great about it: All questions answered with an example and e-file is great.
What's not so great: I started a form I did not need and I am reminded that I need to add to it. I need to delete it!

Very Good Product

TurboTax continues to be a very good product. For the way I use it, just a couple of things would make it better. First, when you are in the filing section, it is not clear that you will get a chance to preview your return and worksheets before actually completing your filing. Second, when you are in the step-by-step mode, it can be hard to figure out how to override automated inputs and sometimes equally hard to find out where to input the overrides (e.g., third party designee, manually choosing which education credit/ deduction to apply)

I do miss seeing this years and the look of ahead into next years that used to be included.

Stress eliminated

Turbo Tax once again made filing my return stress free. With their easy to follow guidelines and explanations, I was able to complete my tax return in no time and felt confident in what I was doing. I love the deduction calculator for donations. Takes all the guesswork out of the equation.
