Still the best online tax product

Solid program. Tons of knowledge and flexibility. Even with all the functionality, don't put off doing taxes till the last day if you can avoid it...
What's great about it: Great explanations plus allows backtracking as needed.
What's not so great: Not enough insight on the "standard deduction" when it was popped in place. It zeroed all previous itemized deductions.

I would have given the product 5 stars except there was a major glitch in the program. It never asked you any questions about your ROTH IRA or traditional IRA basis if you did not make any contributions in 2014, when using the step-by-step method. Had I not caught this, I would have had to do a re-file.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Hard to figure out how to change something if you made a mistake; below issue about IRAs

Turbo Tax

It chaps my hide that I have to pay to e-file state return. I wish one could go back just one page to change an entry and not have to go through the whole category every time.
What's not so great: Asks questions I have no clue what they mean, especially when it comes to Roth accounts etc

2014 Tax review

My e-file was rejected, you emailed me, so I come home to fix it as you stated we would show you, well your program didn't do that, but I fixed it quickly and tried to re-e-file the taxes. Your program would NOT allow me to do it, only stating your federal taxes were filed already????????????????????
