Easy to use

The product is easy to use and very complete. I have used Turbo Tax for several years and has definitely improved.
What's great about it: Complete. It covers all of the needed topics
What's not so great: Slow loading
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's not so great: HAVING TO RETYPE INFORMATION (NAME, ADDRESS, ETC)

Turbo Tax is a good product that makes a very complex, painful,

Been using Turbo Tax from day one.... as far back as '80's or '90's. I think....... not sure exactly. (I now live in a 55 and older community). It was good then and over the years has only become better! Definitely a premier piece of software.

Frustrated with outcome

The software was able to walk me through and answer questions for almost everything I needed. However, in the end, as I was trying to submit my taxes for e-filing, the program flagged my EIN as incorrect. I checked, double checked, my husband checked, and I called my employer and verified the number's accuracy with two different people. It was all the same number that was located on my W2. We've used Turbo Tax for the past 8 years now with no problems, and I've been working for the same employer for the past 5 years, so I don't understand why the problem with the software now.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to navigate, help center provided answers to my questions
What's not so great: Ultimately unable to e-file

Do NOT like the cloud option

I may be wrong, but I've been given the impression that I have to store tax return in the "cloud" in order to import information next year. I am not comfortable storing such confidential data in the could and thus request that the importing baseline data from another file remains an option.
What's great about it: Essential modern tax tool
What's not so great: I HATE having to store tax return on cloud to access next year

efile State Returns

My turbotax was suppose to include an efile for the state return. And, during the efile process, I had to pay the state return in order to efile. I'm pretty sure this happened previous years too! However, I will be contacting TurboTax concerning this issue.
Another issue was trying to figure out how to start a CHAT w/ an online support person concerning my issue above.
What's great about it: TurboTax is very easy to use by just answering easy to understand questions.
What's not so great: efile State Return
