What's great about it: fairly helpful in the step-by-step assistance
What's not so great: Always miscalculates our gross income for Ohio school tax

On Hold three times equaling five hours

I had two home offices and found out that i did not need 16a and 16b filled in because there were no office expenses, just utilities and other home expenses.
But nobody could figure this out.
What's great about it: Tax help at the end took ten minutes
What's not so great: Confusion on being helped

What's great about it: Step by step instructions. E-File Capability.

2014 quick and easy

I've been using TTax since it first came out on little hard-shell disks . . . it's been greatly improved over the years. I do wish there were a few more features (e.g., some way of knowing whether the employer EIN entered actually matches the real McCoy - a typo resulted in this year's efiling being rejected. But I can't imagine ever switching to any other method of filing my taxes.
PS - I'm retired, & your review doesn't include that possibility as a check-off.

I had a 1099-R to submit and TurboxTax2014 threw an error message with only one of the offending cells instead of two.
What's great about it: Fast and Easy
What's not so great: Need to include all pertinent info on error messages
