SO EASY!

TURBO TAX IS PERFECT FOR ANYONE TO DO - TAKE YOUR TIME AND GO THRU EACH SCREEN TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING OR YOU CAN PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO REVIEW.
What's great about it: TURBO TAX IS SO EASY & CORRECT
What's not so great: ALL BACKGROUNDS ARE TOO WHITE - TOO BRIGHT

Turbo charged TURBOTAX

I liked the easy step-by-step process. I have always used TurboTax but found this year's version to be easier and more responsive. I was able to complete the entire process in less than 1/2 the time it required last year.
What's great about it: Ease and Step By Step process
What's not so great: Lack of Direct Link when wanting to request an Installment Payment AND make a partial payment
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Is fast accurate didn't have to sit at an office for someone do the same thing I can do.
What's great about it: Accurate

Better than Before

I have used Turbo Tax since 1996.
We used to pay someone to do our taxes.
When I figured out I could do it from home and save the
gas and miles.....
Well it was a no brainer.
Turbo Tax is the best.

it was not clear how to open the program. The only way to get it started was to enter my contact info in what looked like product registration. I thought that all I had gotten out of the downloading process was a link to registration, which I was not interested in doing at the time. This is not user friendly! I wasted a lot of time trying to problem solve, not to mention the amount of frustration I experienced. Next year please please please make it verrrry clear how to actually start up the program once it is downloaded.
What's great about it: Easy to use once I figured out how to start it.
What's not so great: Unclear on how to open.

Not as good as it used to be

Have sworn by Turbo Tax for years, even after reading bad reviews for this year still decided to use it.The overall price has gone up. Software was unable to find last years file, even though it was in the location last years software put it. When I manually found the file, some of the info was wrong and had to be manually fixed.
Did not explain my situation very well, work in one state, live in another. Took outside sources to actually figure out what was needed and how to answer the questions.
For a first year user it may work just fine. Not sure I will use it again next year.
What's great about it: Easy to answer questions
What's not so great: Cost, Wasn't able to use last years return automatically, then when I manually found the file, made mistakes moving info

easiest refund ever

I was a last minute tax filer, but I finished my taxes in less than 1 hour. Times like this, I always wonder why I wait till the last minute to file.
What's great about it: self checking, user interface is easy and intuitive
What's not so great: none
