Overall simple to use and thorough. Love the option for a step by step walk through. However, I don't much care for the lengthy process of going back or editing.
What's great about it: Convenient and private
What's not so great: Back and Edit features can be lengthy

Helped me with my special circumstances

I am unemployed and currently withdrawing money from my retirement plan. I also was surprised with a significant cancellation of debt. In addition I was unable to afford medical insurance. TurboTax helped me walk through all of these special circumstances quickly and easily.
What's great about it: Very easy and quick walk-through of my special circumstances
What's not so great: I did not have any cons

Why Can't I print the forms with my data in them?

If I can't get the form to print to mail, the whole effort is worthless. NO, I will not e-file.
What's great about it: Always easy to fill-in and understand
What's not so great: I can print to PDF and see the data but the print doesn't include my data

Excellent; I flew through it in half the time I did last year. If I could only have had more explanations for logical questions without asking; for example, why there were no changes in the refund after entering some donations. The explanation was there, but it still took some minutes to get and understand it. Otherwise, excellent!!!

Okay so I finally gave in and tried Turbo Tax two years ago and boy was I satisfied accept for a hiccup last year. I didn't realize that I had my 2012 taxes on my computer and for some crazy reason my 2012 taxes ended up in my 2013 software and when I finally realized it I was totally screwed because I had to get my taxes done and transmitted online by the next day or so I thought. I immediately called Intuit and they immediately went over the problem with me attempting to troubleshoot the problem. Finally we figured it out and they sent me a link to download the correct version of the software (which turned out to be the problem as for some crazy reason I still had the 2012 version running although I had installed the 2013 version) They saved my life and I am forever grateful for their great Customer Service and their knowledge with regards to how everything works. We finally got my taxes done and they spent a massive amount of time with me on the phone and saved me. This year went absolutely flawlessly as I installed it, pulled in the data from the year before (2013) and my 2014 was off and running. I cannot believe how quick I did my taxes for 2014...I didn't time it but it didn't take me much more than one hour. Thanks Intuit !! You guys are the bomb!

I have tried every form of tax prep and TurboTax, by far, is the best - simple and easy to use; stressless!
What's great about it: Thoroughness
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
