same issue every year

I report the same issue every year and every year it does not change. I answer the "interview" questions to guide me through the filing. Anytime I try to go back to a previous interview question, it NEVER takes me there! If you answer question 1, then go on to question 2, you should be able to simply go back to question 1 if needed, when you click on the back button. I don't know what is the logic, but it takes me back a whole section, instead of the previous interview question. Because of that, it forces me to do a search, go to forms and then go back to the interview. It is very unrealistic, because it forces someone to go in the exact order of the interview questions, instead of being able to go back to that particular question later....
What's great about it: saves information from previous years
What's not so great: It never takes you back to the same spot

ease of using turbo tax

I like the fact that Turbo Tax is so easy to utilize. I like that it gives you suggestion of possible deductions you might have missed. You don't have to have any prior knowledge of how to prepare a tax return. It's simple and easy to use.
What's great about it: You just need to input the information and the program does all of the calculations for you.

easy peezy tax prep

I have been a Turbo tax user for 9 years! It's tax prep for dummies. So easy to use and step by step melts away the anxiety you experience in Tax Season.

2014 TurboTax Survey

I have used Turbo Tax for over ten years. When I open TurboTax for a new tax season, I smile. All my information from the prior year is available for inputting. I know Turbo Tax will walk me through all items especially the complicated ones. I have Quicken so I can pull information for deductions. Click, click, & click and I'm done. Updates via my email and refund deposited in the bank. Life is sweet once you get through the first year. It takes time even for a computer literate person. I know it is daunting for a neophyte. All the TurboTax videos on YouTube are tips but the neophyte thinks "What do I need first" I suggest a TurboTax 101 to take the neophyte through each section of TurboTax.

Turbo Tax 2015

Each year my proficiency increases with this product. It will always get the job done but each year i feel more confident about using this product.

What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Should allow you to look at different ways to file Ie single or married.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great resource for those who like to procrastinate and for those that just are not sure about all the rules and regulations. The process that the software walks you through gives you confidence that you are not missing something.
What's great about it: Very easy to walk through each step. Detailed instructions with help at your fingertips when questions arise.
