Turbo Tax Dilemma

I will probably use other tax preparation software next year because it is outrageous for Turbo Tax to charge so much for e-filing state returns.
What's great about it: Straight forward, easy for simple returns
What's not so great: Pricey, doesn't cover everything, takes time for more complicated returns
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

too many updates and restarting due to updater freezing up. getting greedy on fees for state e file . deduction pro wont import .
What's great about it: worked finaly
What's not so great: every page had to be manualy arrowed to buttons

Easy, Peasy

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and each year the process is smoother and quicker. Kudos Guys! you're doing a great job.
What's great about it: Really easy! Gets better every year.
What's not so great: None that i can think of

Overall 2014 Turbo Tax was below the my expectations. Average at best. 2013 seemed to be easier, more help info - not 'online' just within links provided.
What's great about it: not paper filing
What's not so great: not intuitive, not able to edit payment without starting, over lack of help info especially IRA section,

Not what it used to be

Used TT over 20 yrs. Used to be way more flexible in letting you get into the forms directly; that function is now very limited. No pure forms mode to let you bypass or override the step-by-step business.Would rate TT 9-10 out of 10 in past. Now maybe 7/10.
What's great about it: Relatively fast, with a straightforward tax situation
What's not so great: Can't directly edit Form 1 of my Mass state return-very aggravating
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Poor quality product

The quality of this product has significantly declined this year. There seem to be a lot of errors in calculations!
