I HAVE USED TURBO TAX WITH CONFIDENCE FOR TEN YEARS. I APPRECIATE THAT I HAVE THE OPTION OF BEING GUIDED THROUGH EVERY QUESTION OR SELECTING SECTIONS TO COMPLETE ON MY OWN

I have used Turbotax for many years and this was the first year I had a problem with my operating system. I had to upgrade my mac which took me almost 8 hours to do and then had to fix other problems associate with the upgrade. I have a lot of files on my computer and have not had any issues until Turbotax. You have a great product, but please keep in mind that not everyone has the latest computer system. Fortunately, Apple had a free upgrade (unusual for them), so I didn't have to incur another expense.
Also, it would be helpful to be able to prepare more than one return using the on-line version for the same price as the cd.

What's great about it: Easy to use

Taxes in 2 hours!

Only snags came from my not being able to find a few records. I wish more agencies would put the information where it is available for TurboTax retrieval. I gave this 4 stars because I hate doing taxes, so i just can't get excited enough to give it 5. TurboTax is honestly the most awesome thing to ever happen to tax preparation!
What's great about it: Very straightforward and easy to understand.
What's not so great: I still hate doing taxes...

8962 not transmitted. Rejected by Fed

I entered all the the correct data including my Form 1095-A Health Insurance Markeplace Statement data. Turbo Tax correctly filled out the Form 8962 Premium Tax Credit but did not include the required 8962 form when I E-filed.
I got emails stating both my Federal and State returns were rejected. I rtied to fix this problem but eventually filed by mail.
E-File is major reason I used Turbo Tax to get my refund quickly.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Forms rejected by Fed and State because 8962 not transmitted

I have used Turbo for 10 years. This version seemed easier to use than the previous versions .Keep up the good work!!

I have used Turbo Tax several years now and my returns are always easy and straight forward just by answering questions. I like that my last year's return information is readily accessible for comparison. Keep the good work!

Making more money now, help!

Changed jobs last year, making a bit more money now. Estimated taxes for next year will help me put more in my "new" 401K and IRA to limit potential tax exposure. Thanks Turbo Tax!

Thorough but needs more cues

Would love to see at the end (specially after working on the taxes over the course of 2 months) more 'ENGLISH'. What was entered for Home Office, what did you put in for the deductible expenses for your home (going green, increase insulation, etc). It is difficult to go back and try to discern what did you enter, is it all there and most of all, the software should guide you/ask you to enter any expenses 'it' knows would increase your refund. (As opposed to have an non-tax-law individual guess at what do he/she need to have on hand and look fro a place to enter it. Having finished, you are left with a feeling of 'Not Having a clue as to what you put in and if you included everything you should have, example: paying a correction to the State of federal for a year other than the one you are filing for. Look forward to seeing this software have more of that intelligence in place
What's great about it: one-stop place to enter the data and get help
What's not so great: much of the "answers" appear given by non-experts. (Opinions and not addressing the real concern behind the question)
