Turbo Tax lifer

I love Turbo Tax! Granted I have a pretty straight forward tax filing, but it walks me through every possible scenario just in case. I like how it checks for errors before I finish and guides me on how to correct them before I file. I really like the efile too! I used to drive across town to the post office that stayed open late to drop them off. Not only have I eliminated those late night trips on the last day, but Turbo Tax is so easy, I even file earlier in the tax season now. I am a promoter of Turbo Tax. this year I ran into a snag making an online efile purchase. I followed the directions on the screen and my transaction and taxes were done in minutes!
What's great about it: easy, step by step
What's not so great: known I know about after using Turbo Tax for about 20years

Comfortably guided tax filing

Does the best job with the highest refund

I've been using Turbo Tax for about 4 years, it gets easier and better every year, plus there is never a problem with the Tax office. Turbo Tax does the job - reduced my effort in doing my taxes from 6-8 hours to about 2 hours or less. I'll be using them again next year - great software, finds deductions I won't and covers all the bases - recommend it for anyone
What's great about it: Easy, intuitive, steps you though the process - No got Ya's
What's not so great: None - I'vebeen using this for years and it rocks my refund every year

Very easy to use, yet I am not a tax professional and I appreciate the "walk through" approach to avoid missing anything. By checking and rechecking I feel quite confident that my tax return is accurate.

Assumptions and Dead Ends

I earned dividend income (not much) but didn't received 1099-INTs. Why can't I enter my YTD dividends even though I didn't received 1099-INTs from my banks? Income is income, and needs to be reported but I didn't see any legitimate way to do it.
I got caught in the never-ending state return amendment, because I mistakenly clicked on "yes" (to amend) instead of "no." I had to search for a way out on the website, which seems to have worked, but it was a lot of unnecessary panic and confusion. Why can't there be a "do over" option on the state return?

What's great about it: I've always liked the way I'm "walked through" the return. I feel pretty much everything gets covered.
What's not so great: Entering income not entirely open; State amendment merry-go-round
