Smoothed the changes!

I would recommend TurboTax for anyone who plans to file their own tax return. My children did their taxes for the first time this year and I convinced them to use TurboTax. Smooth sailing!
What's great about it: I retired this year and was worried that my taxes would be complicated. TurboTax asked all the right questions.
What's not so great: None.

I really like it. have been using turbo tax for over 15 years.
It's reasonably priced and excellently supported. I will never use another tax package

Confused Refund

Not well explaining each step what to do if you fill with Turbo tax last year, when you go back and return to continue the display not the same as it was last.
Some state allow you to pay tax in the same year on different time before late charger apply but still count as same tax year (Example: CT tax allow you to pay 2 payment, 1st on 07/01/2014 late pay date is 08/01/2014 and for 2nd 12/31/2014 late pay date is 02/01/2015 and still count at same tax year 2014...CT tax form from Turbo not excepted).

20 years and still a fan...

After 20 years, I spent the money and compared H&R Block Tax program against Turbo Tax. Hands-down, I prefer and will be a loyal Turbo Tax user for life. The question format and ease to navigate between the forms makes it helpful to ensure I didn't miss anything.

Cheesy way of making you buy the deluxe version because you can't use the Basic for itemized deductions.

Love my Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years. Each year there are minor changes but those changes seem to enhance the product. The one thing I did not like was the surprise that I had to upgrade my Apple operating system. Had a few bumps doing this so I filed much later than usual.
Prior to getting my actual Turbo Tax 2014 I received disk that looked like the Turbo Tax I was expecting. But it was actually a marketing disk that frustrated me until I realized that it wasn't what I'd been waiting for.
