We have used Turbo Tax for several years. The 2014 version is very user friendly. The step by step walk through/interview was thorough and easy to understand. Printing the forms was a little confusion. It appeared that you doing a print preview and not actually printing out the forms.
What's great about it: Great instructions and walk through technique.
What's not so great: Printing is confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Highly recommended. Most anyone can file their own taxes. My only criticism is when you load your TurboTax account home page and accept the invite to begin your taxes now, it is NOT really specified that you are actually using the TurboTax server online to store your return and store your private data. For safety's sake I really wanted to download the software to my pc instead. It took me a few entries to realize what was going on.
What's great about it: Seamless interaction with prior years data, intuitive step by step approach. NO STRESS even when filing at last moment.

Quick, Easy and Accurate

I started my taxes in February, but of course I got sucked into work issues and travel which meant I found myself doing my taxes right before the deadline. TurboTax made it possible for me to file before the deadline but spend as little time as possible doing it. This is almost as important getting a larger return. I have had an HR Block accountant do my tax returns for me and I have filed on my own. TurboTax makes filing Fed and 1 state tax return bearable. I wouldn't bother with the app if you need to file more than 3 state tax returns (I occasionally do depending on work travel). Easier and nearly as cheap to get someone else to do it for you.
What's great about it: Quick and easy which meant I didn't have to spend days doing my taxes
What's not so great: No cons really. The fees are sometimes unrealistic (i.e. additional states = $50, HR Block = $70 and they do it for you)

What's not so great: Would like to have USER note pages for keeping notes about how or where data information came from

Luv 2 Turbo Tax

I am not a super computer geek so these programs are usually difficult. Over the years, turbo tax has become more user friendly. I really love using this program.
What's great about it: Super easy program....Great explanations!
What's not so great: 2nd year in a row had difficulty loading program due to firewalls....
