I've used Turbo Tax for 20 years now.
Simple, accurate, and easy to import and saves data from one year to the next.

Good software...need make an easier walk though.

Turbo Tax 2014

Had a difficult time locating a university's EIN but Turbo Tax would not let me file return without it.
What's great about it: User friendly
What's not so great: Won't let you progress/file your return if you don't have all requested info

We have used Turbo Tax for several years. The 2014 version was less complicated. We were pleased with the ease of use and the quality of directions/reference materials. Only problem was the confusion with printing the forms - it gives you the impression that you are reviewing the forms not printing.
What's great about it: Great tips and instructions
What's not so great: Print the returns was confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

not pleased at all after ten years will use another software next year
What's great about it: not much difficult to work, have used turbotax for ten years probably not next year
What's not so great: everthing slow updates, problems downloading state software cant change certain areas after entry

Easy , Efficient, Thorough

I'm not an accountant, or professional tax preparer, and all I want is to get this done simply and accurately. I don't have any exotic financial situations, so have not encountered any issues that TurboTax didn't have ready answers for. It's such a relief to be able to just sit down with my documents, plug in what is needed and send off a return that I don't need to worry about whether I did it correctly.
What's great about it: covers most tax situations
What's not so great: can't think of any!

Very easy process. felt like all my needs were met. Cost effective. was able to e-file which save gas money and time.
