Great assist!

Turbo Tax came through again, especially with so many new tax laws on the books. Explanations were quick to find and brief and to the point.

What's great about it: The explanations were easy to follow.
What's not so great: Repetitive review windows when going through varying incomes or deductions.

adequate but confusing

I have been a loyal Turbo Tax user for years and have loved it. This year, though, it was less clear and did not go through each category with me - even though I asked it to guide me through. I still had to go through subcategories on my own - leaving me unsure whether I had all the deductions that I may have been able to use.
What's great about it: walked me through the basic steps
What's not so great: confusing and did not cover all the options as in past years

Lack of support

My information was among those exposed by Intuit, the lack of support and direction for Intuit is very troubling. Next year I doubt I'd be back to TurboTax after 15+ years of use.

i buy turbo tax for the last three years, and just love it. before turbo tax , I had accountants, tax preparers, and a very expensive CPA... but I got audited anyway . With Turbo Tax its been no problem.... Thank you so much ggirl
What's great about it: I like that turbo tax knows all the updates in the tax codes

TurboTax 2014 Delivers Again

Once again TurboTax 2014 delivers a good product. However, there were a few items that could be improved on: First off, 2014 couldn't find my data from 2012 located in another directory. Even with the browse feature, it still wouldn't load it. One other item I found to be an issue was that I couldn't skip past the "Other Income" questions. After initially adding mine and my wife's information, it later pestered me for more income information, which I did not have, nor did not enter information into. It just would not let me skip these steps. Frustrating and a waste of time. Other than that, I did enjoy TurboTax 2014, and plan on buying 2015 next year. Keep up the good work! Thanks!
What's great about it: Auto-loading of W-2 information, guide through deductions, etc
What's not so great: It couldn't find my previously loaded data from 2012

Suprisingly good experience

I would very much have liked to have printed the final page that is produced immediately after the e-file transmission action is completed. It provides a physical artifact as evidence that the transmission event actually took place. It would have served as a good cover page for the printed copy of the file that was electronically transmitted - shows date and time.
What's great about it: Logical straight-forward approach in the data capture
What's not so great: Virturally none until the very end.
